Support for Arts, Sport and Recreation
Arts, sport, and recreation play a pivotal role in enhancing overall health and well-being. Providing spaces and places for self-expression, social connection, and cultural enrichment, fosters a sense of belonging for individuals and communities. Providing access to facilities and outdoor spaces and places to engage in sport recreation, and cultural activities promotes not only physical health, but also contributes to mental and emotional well-being.
In 2024 Newfoundland and Labrador’s Year of the Arts will celebrate the province’s arts and cultural sector, and the artists and collaborators who bring it to life.
